Comprehensive small animal healthcare in Otley

All consultations are currently by appointment only.

Open surgeries have been suspended as part of our response to the coronavirus epidemic.

Our staff are experienced in dealing with any emergency you may have with your pet, eg. road traffic accidents, wounds, fractured legs, etc. Please phone the surgery to let us know if you are bringing in an emergency, so our staff can be available and prepared.

Any emergency investigations and surgery will be carried out as necessary. This service is, of course, available 24/7.

We sell a variety of pet accessories such as food, treats, shampoos, collars and leads.

Repeat Medication:

Due to reductions in deliveries from wholesalers due to coronavirus we are expecting delays of up to a week for ordering in some medication.

We will endeavour to provide medication to you as soon as possible after your order, but if you could give us your order one week in advance, that will help with supply of medication for your animals.

If you think you may run out of medication, please ask to speak to one of our vets for advice.

Medication can be collected anytime during the working day.   During the coronavirus epidemic, if you phone us on arrival we will bring your medication outside to you.   We can also arrange delivery.

We treat:

  • Cats
  • Dogs
  • Other domestic pets, e.g. rabbits, guinea pigs, etc
  • Farm animals,including smallholdings

We offer:

  • Free on-site parking
  • Neutering, flea, worm and dietary advice
  • Food supply
  • Vaccinations and micro-chipping
  • Dental advice
  • House visits available

We carry out all the routine surgeries you would expect from a small animal practice, eg. neutering, dental care, mass removals, routine orthopaedic surgery, etc. as well as emergency surgery such as fracture repair and other injuries.

On arrangement of an operation we will discuss any requirements with you but generally we ask that all dogs and cats are not fed from midnight the night before surgery and are brought in to morning surgery. They are usually ready to be collected later the same day.

All rabbits and other small furries can be fed up until surgery, no starvation is required.

X-ray facilities:

We have the latest modern digital x-ray facilities to aid our investigations.

Hospitalisation facilities:

We have well-equipped, dedicated, spacious kennels, some with the benefit of underfloor heating. If your pet does need to be hospitalised, you can be assured that our staff are dedicated to providing your pets with the care and attention they need 24/7.

We are a long established farm animal practice, dedicated to the agricultural industry, with a large client base providing complete routine and emergency care to suit farms and small holdings of all sizes.
